Dr. Rebekah Woods
President
Rebekah Woods became the sixth president for 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 in November 2017. Prior to joining
网赌正规真人实体在线平台, she was the Provost at Jackson College in Jackson, Michigan. She has over 20
years of experience in higher education and earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership
and Juris Doctor from Regent University.
She serves on various local boards and organizations including the Tri-City Development
Council, Visit Tri-Cities, Washington State STEM Education Foundation, Boys & Girls
Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties, Pasco Kiwanis and Watson’s Paws for the Cause.
Dr. Woods believes in the transformational power of an education and is committed
to meeting the educational needs of the Tri-Cities and helping all students succeed

Eduardo Rodriguez
Vice President for Administrative Services
Eduardo Rodriguez started working at 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 in 2001 and served until 2018 in different roles, including Assistant Director of Information Services, Organizational Change Management Director, Director of Budget Services and Assistant Vice President for Administrative Operations. From 2018 through May 2021, Eduardo served as the Vice President of Administration and Finance at Renton Technical College, then returned to 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 as the Vice President for Administrative Services in June 2021.
Eduardo earned an Associate of Arts and Science in Electronics and System Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management from Columbia Basin College. He also earned a Master of Business Administration in Management and Strategy from Western Governors University.
Eduardo’s passion is working in an organization, like 网赌正规真人实体在线平台, which helps provide opportunities that transform lives.
Dr. Michael Lee
Vice President of Instruction
Michael Lee began teaching English and Literature at 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 in September of 1999. In
his current role, he serves as the Vice President for Instruction. Prior to coming
to 网赌正规真人实体在线平台, he taught at Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, Washington, and Henan Medical
University in Zhangzhou, China. While teaching at 网赌正规真人实体在线平台, he's completed a Ph.D. in English
and the Teaching of English from Idaho State University.
Currently he serves on the Benton Franklin Workforce Development Council and also
serves on the advisory boards for the College of Education at Washington State University
Tri-Cities and for the Culinary Program at Tri-Tech Skills Center.
Michael works to support opportunities for positive interactions between faculty members
and students that foster educational growth for all students at 网赌正规真人实体在线平台.
Cheryl Holden
Vice President for Student Services
Cheryl Holden has been a proud 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 Hawk since 2001 and began serving as the Vice President
for Student Services in 2017. Previously, she served as the Head Women’s Basketball
Coach, Registrar and Director for Student Records and Running Start here at 网赌正规真人实体在线平台. Cheryl
earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Central Washington University
in Ellensburg, Washington and her Master of Arts in Management from Antioch University
in Yellow Springs, Ohio. She spent over 15 years in the K through 12 education system
before joining the team at 网赌正规真人实体在线平台.
As the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 for 13 years, Cheryl held a 70% winning
record in overall play and feels honored to own five East Region titles. She is one
of only two coaches to win four Northwest Athletic Conference Championships in her
career. Cheryl had the privilege of being named East Region Coach of the Year five
times and NWAC Coach of the year four times. She loves basketball. She loves 网赌正规真人实体在线平台.
And she’s very proud to be a member of the NWAC Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
Corey Osborn
Vice President for Human Resources & Legal Affairs
Corey Osborn joined 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 in February 2023 as the Vice President for Human Resources & Legal Affairs. Prior to joining 网赌正规真人实体在线平台, he served the City of Kennewick for ten years as the Human Resources Director & Assistant City Attorney. Corey earned his Juris Doctor from Temple University and practiced as a civil rights and employment attorney in Philadelphia before moving back to Washington State to begin his career in public service.
Corey is committed to supporting growth and development in others, particularly youth. He has served as a child advocate volunteer attorney, taught Junior Achievement and coached mock trial teams throughout his career.
Corey applies his passion for leadership and service to benefit all members of the 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 community.
Dr. Jason Engle
Dean for Organizational Learning
Jason Engle joined the 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 leadership team in 2016. Before 网赌正规真人实体在线平台, he worked in the Office
of Educational Accountability at the State of Wisconsin and in Research and Evaluation
at the Madison Metropolitan School District (Madison, WI). He have a Masters of Public
Affairs in Education Policy and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of
Wisconsin.
网赌正规真人实体在线平台's Organizational Learning/Institutional Research supports student success by organizing
and disseminating information to help make better decisions throughout the college.
A flagship of this effort is the establishment and expansion of the “Jedi Project”
– where he disseminates enrollment, program and student performance throughout 网赌正规真人实体在线平台.
Dr. Luz Garza
Dean for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Luz Garza joined 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 in February 2023 as the Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Prior to joining 网赌正规真人实体在线平台, she was the Dean of General Education at Arizona College of Nursing in Las Vegas.
Born and raised in Sunnyside, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Washington State University and a Master's in Applied Psychology from Eastern Washington University. After spending seven years as an elementary school counselor in the Sunnyside School district, she moved to Las Vegas. While teaching part-time as an adjunct professor, running a tutoring business, and teaching Zumba fitness classes there, she earned her Ph.D. in Health Psychology from Northcentral University.
Dr. Garza is proud to return to her home state and 网赌正规真人实体在线平台. She is an advocate for equitable educational environments that change lives and is honored to serve the diverse families and communities of Washington.
Elizabeth Burtner
Assistant Vice President for Communications & External Relations
Elizabeth Burtner joined 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 in 2022 as the Assistant Vice President of Communications
and External Affairs. Prior to joining 网赌正规真人实体在线平台, she worked for STCU supporting their new
market entry in the Tri-City area. While at STCU, Elizabeth led the community outreach
and financial education team across three distinct markets. Her prior roles spanned
innovation, strategy, and communication across a variety of industries.
Elizabeth earned an Associates of Arts from 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 and a Bachelor of Arts and Science
from WSU Tri-Cities. She currently serves as the Board Chair for Communities in Schools,
is a member of the Mid-Columbia PRSA, and is actively engaged in our local chambers.
As a graduate of 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 and then WSU locally, Elizabeth is passionate about the value
that 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 brings to our community. Supporting education and contributing to the pathways
of success for our local students is a value that Elizabeth shares with 网赌正规真人实体在线平台.
Ronda Rodgers
Executive Assistant to the President and Board of Trustees
Ronda Rodgers joined the 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 team in June 2021 as the Executive Assistant to the President and Board of Trustees. She graduated from Washington State University Tri-Cities with a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration on Innovation and Change.
For the past 15 years, Ronda served in administrative roles supporting executive leaders in the legal field, first in the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in Vancouver and most recently in Benton County District Court.
Ronda is a 网赌正规真人实体在线平台 graduate who began taking evening courses while working full-time before transferring to WSU Tri-Cities. She values the opportunities a local community college education provides, enabling students to further their educational and career goals while continuing to work and thrive in their local community.
